Keith Llewellyn - The man behind a dream.

Keith sadly passed away on the 2nd October 2001 but his dream lives on in the shape of Queensbury Juniors. Keith's dream was to have a junior team at each age group between Under 8's and Under 18's. This started in the season of 1994/1995. In the season of 1996/1997 the Under 8's, with Keith and Bob Boocock in charge, won the Bradford Cup against Wibsey 12-10. This was the inspiration for all that followed. Keith was always the gentleman and a genuine sportsman and the example he set in showing that no job is too great or too small, be it marking out the pitch on a windy rainy day or blowing up the match balls, has been the inspiration for all who have followed. Without Keith and his "dream" Queensbury Juniors would not exist in the way they do today. The Keith Llewellyn Memorial Shield is presented, annually, to the Club Man of the Year at Under 12's level.
